In collaboration with the community, a transformative new vision is being proposed for the Phillips 66 Wilmington Refinery and the Rancho LPG property. The reimagined site will remove the existing refinery and butane tanks and build an entirely new project with community uses at its core: this is the Five Points Union Project.
A new Town Center will be created, with restaurants, playgrounds, outdoor gathering spaces and sports facilities. In addition, a Commerce Center will provide new jobs to fuel economic prosperity. Five Points Union is a chance to beautify and revitalize a legacy site and shape an ambitious new future for the community.
Five Points Union has been shaped by the community based on hundreds of conversations with residents and stakeholders. The community’s priorities have influenced everything from the Town Center’s uses, to the types of sports fields, to the building design and kinds of trees and vegetation. We are committed to continuing these conversations and providing opportunities to share updates, answer questions, and listen directly to your ideas.
